Your Support

The Mission depends on volunteers and donations. New volunteers are always needed and welcome as are donations for programs, operating and improvements to our buildings and grounds!

Volunteers can be involved in leadership roles or in day to day activities. Assisting with students who visit the Mission for the fabled ‘Trails through the Mission’ program, giving tours, answering the phone and greeting visitors, demonstrating ‘forgotten skills’ such as butter churning in the 1850’s Mission Cabin, building split rail fencing, telling stories, assisting with special events such as the Fall Festival, serving as a committee chair for events and programs, writing grants, helping with public relations and more. There is a volunteer job to suit any interest.

If interested in joining a devoted, fun group of “friends”, who share an interest in our past and want to bring the past forward. Your contribution of your time or your financial contribution will be put to good use. Visit or phone our Site Administrator to learn more. 3403 West 53rd Street, Fairway, KS 66205 913.262.0867. Your support is both welcome and needed.
